Project owners and general contractors typically require certificates of insurance with additional insured endorsements from subcontractors working at jobsites. Recently, many insurance carriers have started issuing, certificates and additional insured endorsements that are specific to particular locations rather than providing the broader "all operations" wording as in the past.
